I was surprised by the level of confidence put in the ability of the Obama administration to influence the domestic and international energy markets, as expressed in U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack’s March 14 Congressman’s View column in the News Tribune, headlined, “Reducing regulations, expanding U.S. drilling will lower gas prices.”
