Grand Marais adventurer Lonnie Dupre talks about his life on ice

When he was young, Lonnie Dupre read all he could about the Inuit and the Arctic, longing for the day he could explore their lands firsthand. In the meantime, he and a high school friend spent many weekends in primitive camps near his rural Minnesota home. They ate venison, duck, beaver and grouse.
