Lakeside Lumber cutting loose after 78 years of operation

For any personal or professional anniversary of 80 years, a gift of hewn oak is traditionally given. For Mike and Ina DeSanto, whose relationship with Lakeside Lumber goes back 78 years, hickory will suffice. “Probably about six years ago now, I ordered all hickory cabinet-grade lumber and he supplied that to me so I could build my own cabinets. He provides good quality materials. It’s a very, very nice resource to have here locally,” Gary Simonsen said.
