Our view: Did school district stifle public opinion?

Duluth’s Loren Martell has been on a letter-writing campaign, urging his “fellow citizens” to express their dissatisfaction with School Board member Tim Grover and Grover’s representation — or lack of representation, in Martell’s mind — of central Duluth. Martell urged writers to send missives to Grover via the school district’s offices at Old Central. The letters could then become part of the public record, Martell envisioned.
