Duluth's Sky Harbor Airport receives federal grant for tree study

The grant was one of U.S. Department of Transportation grants made to airports in northeastern Minnesota, announced by U.S. Rep. Jim Oberstar today. The airport will receive $110,636 to conduct an environmental study for a runway realignment as an alternative to removing old growth trees that are obstructing a runway approach.Word count: 264
