JACKSON — A man serving a life sentence for conspiracy and kidnapping resulting in the 1997 death of 15-year-old Gregory Sky Erickson spent Wednesday afternoon on the stand in Jackson County District Court, answering questions from Minnesota Assistant Attorney General Matthew Frank about events leading up to Erickson’s murder and the involvement of defendant Juan Humberto Castillo-Alvarez, also known as Ricardo Castillo.Word count: 1258
