Willmar, Minn., man gets two years in prison for theft by swindle

WILLMAR — Marlon James Sands, 27, of Willmar, was sentenced Monday to 24 months in prison and ordered to pay $100 in fines and $9,810 in restitution on felony charges of theft by swindle and check forgery for using fraudulent vehicle transfers to swindle money and for writing checks on closed accounts.Word count: 438
