Voters go to polls today in west central Minnesota

Voters in the New London-Spicer School District line up to cast ballots Tuesday morning in the NLS High School gym on a proposed $1.5 technology levy. Within the first hour about 260 ballots had been cast and 19 new voters were registered, including some NLS students who are 18 and voted for the first time. Seven area school districts are holding levy elections today including NLS, Willmar, Montevideo, BOLD, Dawson-Boyd, Redwood Valley and Benson. The polls will remain open until 8 p.m. in all school districts.Word count: 0
