Ohio Goodwill store workers find gray-and-black striped kitten in donated couch

HURON, Ohio - Some old couches have a squeak. One that was delivered to an Ohio Goodwill store came with a meow. Goodwill employees heard mewing inside the store in northern Ohio and traced the sound to a sofa that was donated on Thursday. Store clerk Kaila Voight said they removed the cushions and out popped the head of a gray-and-black striped kitten, through a slit in the fabric covering the springs.
