Minnesota Senate approves higher income taxes bill

ST. PAUL, Minn. - A DFL plan to raise income taxes on everyone from parking attendants to corporate executives narrowly passed the Minnesota Senate on Friday, even though it has little chance of becoming law over the objections of Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
