Local doctor vies for county jail contract

Published 01/04/2012, Alexandria Echo Press

Sheriff Troy Wolbersen was “blindsided” by a late addition to the county board of commissioner’s agenda at a regular meeting on December 27. Wolbersen came before the board to request an extension of the medical services agreement between Douglas County and MEnD Correctional Care, LLC for inmate care. Dr. Steven P.
