Letter: Town’s road costs spiraling out of control

The budgeted and the actual costs of road construction and maintenance in the town of Kinnickinnic have reached all-time highs since the current Town Board, headed by Chairman Van Beek, fired the St. Croix County Highway Department in order to hire private road construction companies, including Chairman Van Beek’s current employer, Asphalt Associates.
