‘Guys and Dolls’ performance is this weekend

Nevis High School students are performing the spring musical “Guys and Dolls” at the Nevis School small gym on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 26 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. “Guys and Dolls” is a romantic comedy that soars with the spirit of Broadway. The show involves a cast of vivid characters and upbeat music. Sarah Brown (Rachel Grider) is the upright mission doll out to reform evildoers of Times Square. Sky Masterson (Sean Howes) is the slick, high rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love. Adelaide (Brianna Fynboh) is the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact that she has been engaged to the same man, Nathan Detroit (Joe Bolling) for 14 years. Nathan Detroit is also constantly desperate to find a spot for his infamous floating craps game. The cost to attend the musical is $5 for adults, $3 for children, $3 for senior citizens and a maximum cost of $15 per family.
