The 2009 Minnesota Legislative session, difficult by anyone’s measure, will seem like a piece of cake compared with 2010. There will be more budget cuts, the outgoing governor just predicted he will leave the state a $7 billion budget shortfall by 2012 and partisan food fights will break out on the chamber floors with all the candidates vying to replace Tim Pawlenty.
