MDU predicts lower heating costs

Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. says customers will pay about 12 percent less for natural gas to heat their homes this fall and winter compared with last year. The Bismarck-based utility is projecting a $65 decrease for average residential home heating bills over five months, from November through March.
