JHS economics team will compete for regional title

For the fourth time in six years, Jamestown High School has a state champion team for the economics challenge and will travel to the regional competition. This year’s regional competition, in Houston on April 27, includes 13 state championship teams, with the winner from each of the four regions advancing to the national competition in New York from May 16 to 18. The Jamestown team is comprised of seniors Nick Graves, Tate Carlson, Lindsey Kautzman, Barb Trautman and Haley Johnson, the team is coached by economics and social studies teacher Marchel Krieger.Word count: 695
