Changes taking effect in Powerball

North Dakota’s lottery director says Powerball players will have a chance to win more money starting this week. Officials said the average Powerball jackpot is increasing from $95.5 million to $141 million. They estimate that will mean 3 million more prizes each year. The starting jackpots will increase from $15 million to $20 million.
