N.D. officials: Rabies vaccine limited

State health officials say the supply of rabies vaccine for humans is limited nationwide due to a higher demand and a production delay, and they’re advising people to take steps to reduce the risks. The Health Department said rabies vaccine for pets is still widely available. Health officials are urging people to keep their pets up to date on vaccinations and to avoid unknown, stray or wild animals or contact with the saliva of livestock that are ill.
