Voters defeat new courthouse issue

Voters in eastern North Dakota’s Griggs County have defeated a $2 million bond issue to build a new courthouse. The Grand Forks Herald reported that the measure on Tuesday’s ballot got support from only 49 percent of voters when 60 percent approval was required.Word count: 107
