Heat causes stress for trees

With the very warm temperatures and little rainfall, you may be noticing signs of stress in some of the trees in the area. During drought conditions, trees can have a lot of seed, but sparse, undersized foliage. If examination of a symptomatic tree proves that there is no disease or insect-related problems, environmental factors are to blame.
