Courthouse story requires clarification

The story “Courthouse challenges: Dangerous materials, fungi haunt old building” on A1 in Monday’s Sun requires clarification. Swab sampling by Badlands Environmental Consultants revealed seven different mold species can be found in the historic Stutsman County Courthouse. A Badlands report also called attention to suspect asbestos-containing pipe insulation. Stutsman County officials are concerned about apparent deterioration of lead paint in the building.
