Letter to the editor: City leader deserves to have new library named for him

As Jamestown and Stutsman County inevitably move toward building a new combined library structure, I feel it necessary to incorporate the name of a humble man into the discussion on the subject of what we should call the new much-needed facility. Someone who clearly is a standout example of character, being a true father of Jamestown and having put efforts into not only the library project for many years, but currently serving on the City Council for more than 30 years, and a good time spent as our dignified mayor for nine-plus years.
