Sprucing up along highway here: Trees being planted in city

The last mile of U.S. Highway 281 in south Jamestown will be greener for future generations as a massive tree planting effort got under way Monday afternoon. Both sides of the highway near the Buffalo Mall from 17th Street Southwest to 37th Street Southwest will be planted with 423 trees, said Paul Sharp, project overseer with Interstate Engineering.
