School Board looks at drug, alcohol policy

The Jamestown Public School Board suggested making changes to its drug and alcohol in the workplace policy — including notifying law enforcement if an employer suspects an employee is using or is in possession of illicit drugs. The board reviewed its drug and alcohol policy at its regular meeting Monday. The board reviews policies like those on drug and alcohol at meetings regularly. Superintendent Bob Toso said drug and alcohol use by employees has not been an issue, but the district would rather be proactive.Word count: 389
