Fargo man injured in head-on collisionWATFORD CITY, N.D. – A Fargo man was one of two people hurt Friday afternoon in a head-on collision on Highway 23 in McKenzie County.
Rudy Arechigo, 55, of Fargo, was traveling east in a loaded concrete truck at about 2:30 p.m. when a tire blew out and he lost control, according to a North Dakota Highway Patrol release. He veered into the westbound lane, striking a Chevy Silverado driven by Tina Crow of Wyoming.
Crow, 24, went into the ditch and was pinned in her vehicle until she was extricated by responders. Both Crow and Arechigo were transported by ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot.
The accident shut down the highway for several hours.
