Freezing temps expected across Red River Valley overnight

GRAND FORKS - Much of the Red River Valley could see freezing temperatures tonight into Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday for most of the valley north from the North Dakota border.

The warning takes effect at 10 p.m. and last until 9 a.m.

Temperatures may be at or below freezing, and plants that are sensitive to temperatures changes may be killed if they are left uncovered.
