Business Digest: Grand openings held today in West FargoWEST FARGO – Grand openings will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. today for HomeGoods and Marshalls, in the Westgate Commons at 1500 13th Ave. E.
The discount retailers are taking over spaces that previously housed Old Navy and Big Lots and Linens ‘n Things. Both are operated by TJX Companies, the parent company of T.J. Maxx.
Today is also the first day of business for Valley Oral and Facial Surgery in West Fargo. It is at 3187 Bluestem Drive in The Preserve Office Building.
It is a second location for the Grand Forks-based oral surgery center. An open house will be held later.
NDTO honors two with global business awards
FARGO – The North Dakota Trade Office has named Amity Technology, a Fargo firm specializing in agriculture machinery, the North Dakota 2013 Exporter of the Year.
Dakota MEP, a nonprofit dedicated to helping North Dakota companies improve business results through continuous development, received the 2013 Service Provider of the Year award.
The awards were announced at the NDTO’s Global Business Connections conference held this week in Fargo.
