2 West Fargo High students hit by car in school parking lotWEST FARGO – A high school student here was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by another student’s car near a school parking lot.
The incident happened about 7:30 a.m. outside West Fargo High School, according to a news release from West Fargo police.
A 15-year-old female student was driving into the parking lot when she struck two male students, ages 16 and 17, who were walking from the parking lot to the high school, according to police.
The 16-year-old male sustained injuries to his face, chest and arm, and was transported to Sanford Medical Center by ambulance.
That student’s injuries were not life-threatening, said Heather Konschak, a West Fargo School District spokeswoman.
The 17-year-old male student refused medical treatment on the scene, police said.
The driver was cited for driving with an obstructed view.
