West Fargo High School Theatre takes top state honors

WEST FARGO – The West Fargo High School Theatre won first-place honors at the North Dakota Class A State One-Act Play competition held recently in Fargo with their state play entry, “Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As Told by Himself).”

This is the second consecutive championship title West Fargo has received.

Superior Performance awards went to Taylor Flakker and Austin Lamb; Natalie Shea won first place in the Solo Musical Theatre Individual Event; and Morgan Senger and Alyssa Manning won first place in the Duet Musical Theatre Event.

An Evening of One-Act Plays including “The Lost Elevator,” “Bad Auditions by Bad Actors” and “Shipwrecked!” will be performed at 7:30 tonight in the West Fargo High School Theatre. Tickets are $6 at the door, and all seats are general admission.
