Dickinson man pleads guilty to robbing bank in MedinaFARGO – A Dickinson man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court here to charges connected to a bank robbery in Medina in October.
Rendell C. Hardy, 41, pleaded guilty to bank robbery and possessing a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fargo.
According to the state-ment:
Hardy and a co-defendant, Satrone R. Boyd, robbed Northland Financial wearing Halloween masks.
Hardy, who was armed with a handgun, demanded money from a bank em-ployee and both defendants then drove away in a stolen vehicle.
Hardy was later apprehended in Dickinson after he and Boyd were identified by video surveillance footage authorities located at a truck stop in Jamestown.
Boyd is awaiting a sentencing hearing that is scheduled for Monday.
Hardy’s sentencing hearing is set for July 1.
