Inside business: Sports Center site renovated to office park

The former Sports Center at 3320 Westrac Drive, Fargo, has been renovated into new office space and will open in May as Westrac Office Park.

The building is owned by Dell Arneson Inc.

The first tenant will be the pickup accessory e-tailer RealTruck.com. Based in Jamestown, RealTruck.

com’s Fargo-based satellite office is currently at 4650 Amber Valley Parkway but will be moving to a larger space in the new Westrac Office Park.

Better Business Bureau seeks nominations

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota is calling for nominations for a business ethics award.

The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics recognize companies that display outstanding ethics in their dealings with customers, employees, vendors and the community.

For-profit businesses of any size, owned or operated in Minnesota or North Dakota, are eligible. Nominees must be in good standing with the BBB, but BBB Accreditation required. Self-nominations are accepted.

Companies can be nominated online at thefirstbbb.org/nominate. The nomination deadline is May 6. Winners will be announced at an October ceremony.

Free workshop for age 50+ entrepreneurs

The AARP and the Small Business Administration will present a free workshop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 at the Fargo Public Library, 102 3rd St. N., to help individuals ages 50 and older who want to start their own business.

Experts will provide information on the basics of starting a business as well as programs and resources that are available through SBA and AARP. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a representative from the SBA or SCORE.

Harley-Davidson hosts grand opening events

WEST FARGO – The new ownership at Harley-Davidson of Fargo is hosting a grand opening celebration today and Saturday at the dealership, 600 W. Main Ave.

A ribbon-cutting is at 3:30 p.m. today. There will be free food from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, as well as a reception with the owners from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
