Burgau picks up career win No. 700 as Cobbers earn sweep

DICKINSON, N.D. – Concordia head coach Bucky Burgau picked up career victory No. 700 in the first of two Cobbers baseball wins against Dickinson State on Friday.

Ryan Smith batted 3-for-3 to pace Concordia to a 2-1 victory over Dickinson State in Game 1. Jackson Meland pitched seven innings, giving up only one hit and one unearned run.

During the second game Michael Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored as the Cobbers won 8-1.
