Mellencamp, Paisley part of ND State Fair musical actsMINOT, N.D. – State fair officials are releasing a band lineup that features John Mellencamp, Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum for this year’s concert offerings in Minot this July.
Seven-time Grammy winners Lady Antebellum takes the stage first on Friday, July 18, the country music act famous for hits like “Compass,” “Downtown” and “Need You Now.”
John Mellencamp is set to perform Saturday, July 18. The rock music stalwart is best known for “Jack and Diane,” “Small Town” and “R.O.C.K. in the USA.”
The Charlie Daniels Band, best known for their hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” follows Mellencamp with a performance on Sunday, July 19.
Brad Paisley, with his current single hit “Mona Lisa,” is the final act of the fair, set to take the stage Saturday, July 26.
Paisley has had 22 singles at the top of the charts since 1999, including hits like “Mud on the Tires” and “Little Moments.”
The fair also will feature performances by Florida Georgia Line, Randy Houser, and Three Days Grace.
Stock car races and NPRA Championship Bull Riding shows are also set to be featured.
The 2014 fair runs from July 18 to 26.
