Joan Baez plays Fargo Theatre in JulyFARGO – Folk music legend Joan Baez will perform at the Fargo Theatre on July 15.
Since breaking out at the 1959 Newport Folk Festival, the singer/guitarist has been a musical voice of human rights movements and protest songs. She helped popularize Pete Seeger’s “We Shall Overcome,” and sang “Joe Hill” and “Swing Low Sweet Chariot” at 1969’s “Woodstock” concert.
