Lakota-Edmore scores win over Kidder County in Class B girls BB fifth-place game

FARGO - Junior forward Fallyn Freije connected for a 3-pointer with 16 second remaining to help Lakota-Edmore a 40-39 win over Kidder County in the fifth-place game of the North Dakota Class B girls basketball state tournament.

Freije finished with 23 points – 20 coming in the second half – and 13 rebounds for the No. 6-ranked Raiders (20-7).

Senior guard Sadie Rohrich finished with nine points and nine rebounds for the Pirates (20-7).
