Authorities arrest robbery suspect in Moorhead
A reported shooting and possible assault in Fargo led Moorhead police to the suspect's last-known address. Meanwhile, a disturbance call was received from an address in north Moorhead with the same suspect mentioned as a responsible party, according to a news release from Moorhead police Sgt. Scott Kostohryz.
As officers reached the north Moorhead location, a car occupied by six people left the scene and a witness said the people in the vehicle were responsible for the disturbance, Kostohryz said in the release. Information also led police to believe a handgun was involved.
Police were able to stop the vehicle in the 700 block of 11th Street North with the assistance of the Clay County Sheriff's Office where Cynthia Butcher was taken into custody at the request of Fargo police.
The driver of the vehicle, 37-year-old Ronald Butcher, was cited and released for driving after revocation.
