Spill near Killdeer gets into stock pond

KILLDEER - A six- to 10-barrel oil spill from a well pad has reached a stock pond near Killdeer, the North Dakota Department of Health reported Tuesday.

Continental Resources owns the well pad, which sits 14 miles northwest of Killdeer. The company has begun cleaning the spill and is working on a remediation plan with the state, the Health Department reported.
