Ex-UND offensive lineman Kuper retires from NFLDENVER – Denver Broncos offensive guard Chris Kuper, who has been bothered by a persistent ankle problem, said he will retire after eight NFL seasons, the Denver Post reported Monday.
Kuper is a former UND standout. He was an offensive lineman at North Dakota from 2002 through 2005.
Kuper, 31, was drafted by the Broncos in 2006 and was a starting guard from his second season in 2007 until he suffered a dislocated left ankle in the final game of the 2011 season.
