Suspected robber in custody in Fargo convenience store holdup

FARGO – Fargo police have arrested the man they say robbed the Petro Serve convenience store Feb. 24.

Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel said Ibrahim Perry Kardor, 20, of Fargo, is being held on suspicion of robbery, a class B felony.

Class B felonies carry a potential 10-year prison term, if convicted.

Kardor was arrested after police executed a search warrant at 1438 17th St. here.

Vettel said Kardor is facing additional charges as a result of the search warrant, including delivering marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two unrelated warrants out of Cass County for driving under suspension and for providing false information to law enforcement.

Vettel said police found about 200 grams of marijuana during the search warrant.

Police earlier reported that two men with handguns robbed the Petro Serve at 2110 S. University Drive at about 1:20 a.m. Feb. 24.

The men demanded money from the clerk, then grabbed cash from the register and took the clerk’s wallet.
