Hot shooting sparks Southern Utah

CEDAR CITY, Utah – Southern Utah shot 50 percent from the field during a 73-53 win over the University of North Dakota in Big Sky women’s basketball Thursday.

Lori Parkinson scored a game-best 19 points for the Thunderbirds.

Madi Buck scored 12 points to lead UND, which made only 9 of 42 attempts from the field.
