Former ‘Idol’ contestant Brogden to perform at Fargo Star finals
Andrina Brogden, a 2013 graduate of West Fargo High School, auditioned for “American Idol” last summer, making the first cut and surviving the show’s Hollywood Week round that picked the top 30 contestants. She didn’t get a chance to perform during the show’s first-ever Rush Week round in February, ending her shot at winning this season.
Brogden will follow up her “American Idol” run by performing as a special guest at the finals for Fargo Star, The Forum’s eighth annual singing competition for local divas and crooners.
Ten finalists, selected by online voters in the past several weeks, will perform live on stage with backing band Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome at The Venue at The Hub on Saturday, March 22, and attendees will vote to select the 2014 Fargo Star.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the final performances will begin at 6 p.m. General admission tickets will be sold at the door for $10 each.
