Fish house removal deadline Monday in MinnesotaST. PAUL - Fish houses must be removed from lakes in the southern two-thirds of Minnesota by 11:59 p.m. Monday.
Those in the northern third of the state may remain until March 17.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reports that conservation officers will enforce that deadline except where shelter owners have made all reasonable efforts to remove the shelter but are not successful because of inaccessible travel conditions.
Failure to remove a fish house may result in a fine of $125 plus court costs.
