Gate City Bank unveils 90th Act of KindnessWEST FARGO - At a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Gate City Bank presented $500 donations to the West Fargo Packer Backers and Sheyenne Mustang booster club. The donations were the 90th act of kindness done to celebrate its new Veterans Boulevard location in West Fargo.
Other kind acts, logged on Facebook, Twitter and Gate City’s website, include bank employees paying for groceries, donating supplies to non-profit organizations and handing out gift cards.
“Because of the commitment we have to giving back to our communities, we felt the acts of kindness were a great way to thank people for supporting Gate City Bank over the past 90 years,” Steve Swiontek, chairman, president and CEO of Gate City Bank said in a statement.
The new location is the bank’s 34th in North Dakota and Western Minnesota, and 12th location in the Fargo-Moorhead metro.
