Just who is this Robert Harms? In response to “Senator says this, does that …” (Forum Opinion page, Feb. 17):
Who are you, Robert Harms?
Blame … blame … the blame game.
Always easier to point the blame – too difficult to take responsibility for both parties (Democrats and Republicans) with their polarized philosophies.
There will be people who are “die-hard” Republicans and Democrats who find Harms’ commentary either offensive or the “bold truth.”
For me, an independent, I always read what isn’t included.
Let’s see … hmmm. What wasn’t included?
• Negotiating an acceptable resolution on issues for both Republicans and Democrats (but, more importantly, for the American people).
• Changing or modifying what isn’t working so that it is acceptable for both Republicans and Democrats (but, more importantly, for the American people).
• The first priority of elected officials is (or should be) the welfare and betterment of Americans.
Articles that are written that play the “blame game” card always get much reaction on both sides but never address what should be best for the most.
Who are you really, Robert Harms?
