East Grand Forks police arrest two for alleged meth lab in carEAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. - Two men have been arrested after police investigators say a mobile meth lab was found in their car here.
James Michael Richter, 46, East Grand Forks, and Joseph Stanley Austreng, 26, Grand Forks, were stopped Wednesday, according to East Grand Forks police.
Agents of the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force in northwest Minnesota were involved as well as those from the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force.
Police had to close the street while Grand Forks agents dismantled the lab and made it safe.
Both suspects appeared today in Polk County District Court on several counts of first degree manufacture of meth.
