Top Picks: Unglued Craft Fest
In each of its first three years, the Unglued Craft Fest grew so big organizers had to first find a larger space then add another date. The celebration of handmade arts and goods opens with a special Craft Gala from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Plains Art Museum, 704 1st Ave., N., Fargo. The tickets ($15 in advance or $20 at the door) allow patrons to be the first to peruse the 65 vendors, with a glass of wine, appetizers, live jazz and a number of other treats including a $5 voucher good at any stand. The second day is free and doors open at 10 a.m. with swag bags for the first 100. New vendors and displays have been added and this year the festivities spill through the skyway into the Center for Creativity. www.ungluedmarket.com/fest.
