Williston man dies in collision on icy Highway 85ARNEGARD, N.D. - A 35-year-old Williston man was killed Sunday night after losing control of the car he was driving on icy U.S. Highway 85 near Arnegard, in McKenzie County.
The man, whose name has not been released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, was westbound toward Arnegard when he lost control of the 1998 Ford Taurus he was driving and slid sideways into westbound traffic.
A 43-year-old Vancouver, Wash., man driving a 2011 Ford pickup struck the Taurus on the passenger side. The pickup driver suffered minor injuries.
