VIDEO: 60 chip in to help build igloo in BarnesvilleBARNESVILLE, Minn. - About 60 adults and kids were involved in building a neighborhood igloo here.
Using milk cartons from Cass Clay creamery, the parents filled them and added coloring.
“Well, regular food coloring doesn’t work," said Kristy Loeks. "You have to use gel food coloring, because regular food coloring has alcohol in it and it won’t freeze.”
While some predicted it would take an entire weekend to build, the Barnesville crew got it done within 8 hours.
