Bison wrestling goes 1-1 at National Duals

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 20-ranked North Dakota State wrestling team went 1-1 at the EAS/NWCA National Duals on Sunday.

The Bison started the day with a 28-10 victory over Chattanooga. Hunter Weber (125 pounds) and Tyler Lehmann (197) each recorded pins for NDSU, as Hayden Zillmer won by major decision at 174 pounds.

No. 1-ranked Minnesota then beat the Bison 35-3 as, No. 3-ranked Steven Monk picked up the lone win for NDSU with an 8-5 decision over Daniel Zilverberg at 165 pounds.

The Bison continue action at the National Duals today in Consolation Round 2 against No. 25-ranked Oregon State.
