Big first half sparks St. Thomas to victory against Cobbers menMOORHEAD – St. Thomas erupted for 49 points in the first half on 68 percent shooting from the field. That strong start sparked the Tommies to an 81-67 victory against Concordia in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball at Memorial Auditorium.
The Cobbers (11-12, 7-11) have lost three of their past four games. Sophomore guard Tom Fraase paced Concordia with 10 points.
Junior forward Conner Nord paced the Tommies with 21 points.
